Game preservation studio · Perth WA
Every game deserves a stop on the line.
We rescue, restore and archive video game history — from corroded cartridges and scratched discs to born-digital builds that would otherwise vanish. One catalogue, mapped like a transit network, so nothing gets lost between stations.

The line so far
A studio built one platform at a time
MythLegacyArchive began as a bench in a Northbridge share-house and grew into a full preservation lab on Edward Street. Here are the stations we have passed through.
- 2014
The first cartridge
Founded to recover a water-damaged SNES collection for a local family. Word spread across Perth collector circles within months.
- 2017
The clean room opens
We built a dust-controlled workshop for disc resurfacing and PCB repair, adding optical media and arcade boards to our services.
- 2020
The digital vault
Launched checksum-verified digital archiving, mirroring every rescue to redundant cold storage with full provenance records.
- 2023
Community access
Opened a by-appointment play library so researchers and enthusiasts could experience preserved titles on original hardware.
- 2025
18,400 titles and counting
Today our catalogue spans forty platforms, with new stations added to the map every week.

Reviews
From collectors, studios and researchers
They brought back a childhood cartridge I thought was dead for good. The recovered save file was still intact — I actually teared up.
The digital vault gave our university media lab a properly documented archive. Provenance records are meticulous and the checksums check out every time.
Recapped my launch-model console and refinished the shell. It boots like the day it left the factory and looks even better.
As a speedrunner I need reliable save-state history. Their archive is version-controlled and frame-accurate — invaluable for verifying runs.
Appraised and catalogued a 400-title collection over two weeks. The searchable catalogue they delivered is better than anything I could have built.
